So, I made it. Successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean.. and officially jet lagged!
I think I have landed in the most beautiful, most fantastical place ever. Yes. I went there. From the moment the plane dropped down a bit to give us a view of Sweden from the sky, I was damn near in awe of how beautiful this place is.
Just vast, open, GREEN land.
From the moment you step off the airplane you feel like you're in the quietest place in the world. Literally. The Swedes are a very quiet bunch; the Stockholm (Arlanda) airport is like a ghost town set in a sauna; everything is clean.
The Swedes seem very reserved upon meeting them but as soon as you get them talking they are most hospitable and down-to-earth.
We stopped by the dance school briefly to meet the other international dancers and students that hail from Portugal, Turkey, Poland, Scotland and more to come... And we've already been through the cities of Gälve and Bollnäs and are now residing in the countryside of Viksjofors with Julia and her mom.
Julia's house is right on a humongous virtually private lake with a dock.
I officially love Sweden.
