Barcelona is a magical land that I am in love with just as much as I thought I would be.

Besides strolling down Las Ramblas, the main strip of shops, restaurants and pet vendors (!), I really haven't done much else here but chill... Spanish style.
I did take the funicular up to Montjuïc where you find yourself engulfed in this amazing view of the city. It is also this old castle but that wasn't too interesting.

Castedelfells is also a nice little beach day trip. Absolutely beautiful.

But mostly I've been chilling at my hostel. Normally, this would seem kind of lame. But this is probably the best hostel in the world.
It's a little off the beaten path. About 20 minutes from the center on the Metro. But it is this oasis of peace. seriously. I'm hooked.

But today I leave Barcelona.. and fully aware that I will be back.
And maybe next time for good.
